Frequently asked questions

My customers use Spotify. Does it work?
For public podcasts yes. For private ones we chose not to. Spotify hosts restricted content itself, in one catalogue that is the same for everyone: every listener sees the same dates, titles and descriptions stay visible to anyone and plays end up in Spotify's statistics instead of yours. On Fonaria every listener has their own feed: episodes unlock from the day they subscribe, access ends when you decide and the dashboard shows you who is listening. Your subscribers can use Apple Podcasts, already on every iPhone, or one of the free apps suggested on the welcome page.
What happens if you shut down or change prices?
You can export episodes, feeds and subscribers at any time. Payments already go through your own Stripe account. If you cancel, feeds stay live for 90 days.
I already use Kajabi, Teachable or a members area. Do I have to move everything?
No. Fonaria does not replace your course platform: it adds the audio version. Keep selling your course where you sell it today and offer the private podcast with it or on its own.
How do you stop the link from being shared?
Every subscriber has a personal link you can revoke at any time. If a link is used from too many countries or apps within a few hours we let you know and you decide what to do.
